At Slow Mode Labs, we take pride in providing quality research materials, mycology products and laboratory supplies.

Due to the specialised nature of our products, please carefully review our Returns & Refunds Policy before purchasing.

By placing an order with Slow Mode Labs, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

Change of Mind Returns

Due to product integrity, quality control and handling requirements, Slow Mode Labs does not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind once an order has been dispatched.

This includes situations where:

  • you no longer require the product
  • you ordered the incorrect item
  • your research requirements have changed
  • products have been opened, handled or stored outside our control

Please ensure your order details are correct before completing your purchase.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon arrival.

If your item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please provide:

  • your order number
  • details of the issue
  • clear photographs of the item and packaging

Once reviewed, we will work with you to resolve the issue where appropriate.

Product Quality Concerns

If you believe there is an issue with a product received from Slow Mode Labs, please contact us with your order information and details of your concern.

Each enquiry will be reviewed individually.

We may request:

  • batch information
  • product photographs
  • packaging details
  • additional information relevant to the issue

Return Approval

Please do not return any products without first contacting Slow Mode Labs.

Any authorised return must:

  • be approved by Slow Mode Labs before sending
  • include original packaging where applicable
  • follow any return instructions provided

Unauthorised returns may not be accepted.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.

Please allow processing time for your financial institution or payment provider.

Refunds may be issued for:

  • confirmed damaged items
  • incorrect items supplied
  • approved order issues following review

Shipping Costs

Original shipping costs are generally non-refundable unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

Customers may be responsible for return shipping costs unless the return relates to an error by Slow Mode Labs.

Research Material Notice

Selected Slow Mode Labs products are supplied strictly for research, laboratory, microscopy or educational purposes only.

Products are not supplied for:

  • human consumption
  • therapeutic use
  • diagnostic use
  • cosmetic use
  • veterinary use
  • personal administration

Slow Mode Labs cannot accept returns or provide refunds due to product misuse, unintended applications or failure to follow stated product purposes.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this Returns & Refunds Policy excludes any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

Where a product has a major failure or issue covered under applicable consumer guarantees, you may be entitled to a remedy as required by law.
